I had a great bridal session in Houston this last weekend. The challenge was going to be an unfamiliar area and weather.
I called my friend and fellow colleague Jesus Tirso about two months ago and he was awesome about assisting me with locations. As an added benefit he volunteered to help me while I was down. Jesus thank you for your help!
Before the photo shoot began we had a 30% chance of rain that went to 100% rain. While hair & make-up were being done I drove around and scouted some locations and added the notes to my iPhone so in case it rained we would have multiple locations to choose from. However, we were able to get some fantastic images without trashing the dress before the wedding day.
Let me say that Ms. Kates is an awesome bride and I can’t wait to document her wedding day. She has an ease in front of the camera and it made this overcast -rainy day have some very bright moments. We had a fun time and pushed it to the limit.
Enjoy!
Cheers, Charlie
